It was never directly stated but HEAVILY implied in the OG version of the chapter…so I think it’s safe to assume that’s the case yeah.

It’s been a mystery what happened to Drizella and Anastasia since this comic began but the theory that Tremaine killed them to get her dark powers was always popular. Perhaps we will finally get a confirmation
I think Cinderella’s mother mentioned that a woman becomes a harpy by sacrificing her most beloved ones. I think Lady Tremaine killed off her daughters. In one of the original chapters of this story, Lady Tremaine was seen cleaning a bloody dagger. Maleficent seemed surprised that she would go so far for something. We never did find out what she did but I’m guessing that she killed her daughters.
