Well, now we have one heck of a clue even if it’s all just one big twisted mind game at this point being played on Cinderella by Lady Tremaine. Anastasia and Drizella have been killed and are being used as instruments of torture by their own “dear” mother. Despicable, really.

Assuming we can take it literally that in order to become a harpy Tremaine ate their hearts that’s…a whole new level of evil/depraved. Like I thought I couldn’t hate her any more than I did after her focus chapter but she really is a monster.
Maybe more so than Dorian and his beastly daughter. ):

I never thought I’d feel bad for Drizella and Anastasia. Their fate here is worse than in the Grimm fairytale where birds peck their eyes out and blind them.
Poor Drizella and Anastasia. Tremaine is o cruel and stubborn. Damn, she let you live, you could have just move on?
She’s one of the most despicable characters I’ve ever read… Good job!

Clearly the writers did not follow the Cinderella 2 timeline.
I don’t think they follow up all of the sequels.
