Yes, but this was in the original version of the comic. I am wondering at what point the creators are going to put this scene in the remake. It should technically take place between Chapters 9.5 and 10, so it’s skipped for now. It might appear as a flashback.
The story contained in the original chapters 1-14 is the segment included in the new canon of the story since those chapters are excessively old in both visuals and storytelling. The chapters The tower part 1 and 2 will remain the same (except for some visual and dialogue changes), so yes those Grimhilde scenes are still canon 😀

I didn’t realize this takes place directly after that but it’s because I forgot that the Grimhilde bonus chapter really took place before she tried to kill Hilda, not after (it just came out after). So I assumed Grimhilde tried a 2nd time in the Crimson Citadel to try and kill Hilda and we the readers didn’t even see it onscreen in a comedic way since it would be just as destined to fail as the other time. It being the same instance makes a lot more sense.
I got you, but it immediately clicked for me that this took place immediately after she tried to kill Hilda since the bonus chapter ended on when she was about to go do just that and why else would Grimhilde be throwing a temper tantrum just now? 😉 Besides, it would have been futile to try to kill Hilda again now that she knows that Hilda can’t be killed.
That definitely makes more sense. I think part of my issue was that when I checked the site a month or so ago, the Grimhilde chapter still hadn’t been reuploaded so I couldn’t remember the ending. The segway is more clear when you re-read it.

I honestly kind of want to see Rose Red and Grimhilde just throw things against the door together as a wholesome venting grandmother-granddaughter activity.
