I really like her haircut, she looks pretty! Ursula had more talent at this than Flynn with Rapunzel.

I’m really intrigued about how this is going to develop because I doubt Tristan would have any kind of moral issue to kill Eric, and we know that won’t happen.
But the contract says that Arista herself needs to do the job, so it’s not going to be that easy for her.

I really like how Arista looks with that haircut it really suits her. Her dress is also beautiful, Tristan clearly has good taste! And now the most difficult task begins, although we know she won’t be able to complete it, I’m intrigued to see how events will unfold.

I’d have thought that Tristan was going to dress her in her mermaid signature color, but those turquoise shades fit her so well. Also the skirt shapes reminds me of her mermaid fishtail, so pretty! I love to see this chapter coming back to updates!

Compared to Ariel, Arista got quite lucky with having Tristan there to help her after her human transformation. She got a pretty dress out of it. Ariel just had Scuttle and wound up wearing a sail as a dress. 🤣🤣 Also, Tristan’s right, she has no idea where Ariel is or what the prince looks like, two things Tristan does know.

Tristan being able to make a dress is funny. Like did he manifest it from his thoughts, already purchases it and had it stored, or magically stole it from someone? XD I also like that his outfit colors make him resemble Ariel!

I’m more and more curious how these two were doing in the moment time was turned back on Ariel’s wedding day. Is Tristan out there searching for her? Does he know she’s in a fishbowl, maybe to be skewered by doll legs? You made me care so much about them in this side chapter, I wonder how big their role will be in the rest of the story. Also Arista’s dress looks so familiar but I can’t place it.
Same, I hope it won’t be like Jane Porter where readers got so attached to her but she’s only got a cameo role. But it does seem like Arista and Tristan will have larger roles to play, particularly based on Tristan’s role in the mythology. I think Arista was also Breadfly’s favorite of the mermaids even if Breadfly isn’t involved in the story anymore.
I think Berthalda just reversed time, picking how much everyone’s memories get erased is a little too OP. So if it’s back to Ariel and Eric’s wedding, they remember each other.
But now that you mentioned it, I wonder if the Citadel team even know of Tristan’s presence there, like did Ursula tell anyone about him? She didn’t fully know who he was, and it would be a humiliating admission to make how he whooped her with his magic lol.

Coming back to comment on the dress: Is it based off of Ariel’s blue dress in the live action remake? Looking back at it now, I remembered it as much prettier lol, but I can see if you took it as a base design to create Arista’s, much prettier dress 🙂
I’m sorry but that Live Action Ariel dress was horrendous, just like all of her looks, the only decent looking thing she wore in the whole movie was the mermaid tail everything else was very poorly done. If anything Arista’s dress looks slightly like Ariel’s 2013 Disney Princess Redesign green dress but more casual and outdoorsy.
Yeah It looked better in my memory and I was suprised when I looked for screenshots from the movie lol, as I said. Idk about Ariel’s redesigned official dress either, sure they share the shape and that kind of contrast blue-green vs the pink/purple detail on the chest but it’s so different. Maybe I imagined seeing the dress somewhere else.
