Lady Tremaine always been de Disnay Villain that i hate most and fear, because how realistic human she is, compared in the others. And she doesn´t have a clear reason do be the way she has.
I mean…a grow adult woman, being envy of the beauty ofa little girl?? don´t even a teenager or a young adult, but a child??. You can even use the excuse of being insecure about her own aging appearance, since her two daughter have the same age that Cinderella. She clearly lost her marbels long time ago.

That scene in the beginning of the movie, when Cinderella dad is this death bed and his little daughter is cry, while Tremaine just stands still? I don´t know if she is indifferent cold, amuse or feel victory with the situation. Totally serial killer vibe.
And before that, when Cindy and her father are together outside her house, just peacefully living the day, and when the scene show Agatha looking upon them from the window. It look just like when Grimhilde see Snow and Frederick and just decide “its looks you having fun together.. let´s put and end on it…permanently”. Chilling
