After all these years, I still love how you snuck in that obscure Goldilocks design from the MGM short “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” from 1939. The thing that surprised me the most about this short though was that it was originally created at Disney and animated at MGM ‘s animation department. So technically, this kind of is a Disney short. I always loved the design for Goldilocks in this short, but otherwise, found it to be rather dull, as most MGM shorts that weren’t Tom and Jerry or directed by Tex Avery tended to be. I preferred Chuck Jones’ Three Bears shorts instead.
