Wow… either this, or there was something “Snow White: a Tale of Terror” style in the palace when she was a child, I dunno, can’t imagine who she might have killed xD
But then again, maybe she indirectly caused someone’s death, like, said something or whatever, and then blamed herself for that, not necessarily murder the person, unless something happened and it was a self-defence? It’s hard for me to believe she would stab Beatrix so many times as her ghost’s bleeding wounds indicate.
If I recall correctly, Beatrix died at the hands of her own husband–who the artists have confirmed–is NOT Bluebeard. Yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is yet another twist that has yet to be brought to light here.
Yeah, I know it was him, and like I said, I don’t believe Snow White would directly do this to Beatrix judging from how the ghost looked, otherwise, we could theorize something happened and Beatrix died by accident for example because of Snow, but the husband took the blame or something. A more believable thing would be that Snow White somehow caused that marriage to happen or said/done something that resulted Bea being killed by her husband.
But I’m more leaning towards believing it’s not related to Beatrix, but rather something from Snow White’s childhood years, like in “A Tale of Terror” where because of Lilli’s disobedience and recklessness someone died. We just had a flashback where Snow was walking to the places she was not supposed to go, kinda like Lilli did. Also, not to spoil things, there’s that strange butterfly as well. Something else could have happened as well.
Glad I’m not the only one thinking of Snow White: A Tale of Terror during these last few pages.

Don’t tell me, there used to be eight dwarfs, but only Dopey knows what became of the last one and he can’t tell his brothers what happened to him because he can’t talk!
All seriousness though, knowing what I do know in regards to both queens, I wouldn’t be surprised if Snow White wasn’t possessed by Althea when this occurred.
Althea could only possess Snow White when she was a child, and at that time, after Snow was possesed she didn´t remember any of it, so I don’t think Althea is involved in this.
