I think Snow White’s life has been pretty good so far. Her fake mother and real mother had way worse lives. Her prince has been unharmed (so far) and even when her daughter dies, she gets brought back as an adult.
This makes me nervous that Belle and Jasmine, who have had pretty decent lives so far, are going to get something disastrous happen to them. I think it’s already been rumored that Aladdin will be killed by Jafar.
Well Jasmine’s life always seemed to be okay, but there was always that hint of malicious court gossip in both the original version of this comic and the revamped version that Belle just couldn’t escape. Also, Belle does end up getting into an argument with Adam over it and runs off to spend some time in her village. That’s the last time she sees him.
They’re definitely the ones that have lost more in a conscious way from the main princesses until now. Ariel has a second chance, Jasmine and Belle are relatively safe or unaware for now and Snow White doesn’t know how bad her situation really is.

I like how in this new version, we can clearly see that Maleficent is behind all this.The original one was confusing because it initially looked like Grimhilde was the one encasing Phillip within the thorns, but then when Aurora rushes to see Phillip, Maleficent appears and explains that she sent Grimhilde away. It was also super confusing because the Grimhilde actually manipulating Phillip really was her and not Quetzal using Grimhilde’s hag form to initially help Aurora in the first place.

Maleficent may be promising that there is something Aurora can do to save Phillip but we all know better.
I’m checking the original version of these scenes and whoa, the improvement on the visuals blows my mind. And not only that, the development too. I can feel both Aurora’s physical and emotional pain a lot more in the revamped version.

I honestly don’t know who can’t catch a break more, Aurora or Cinderella. Seems like every other Chapter they get some new trauma to add to the pile.
