Welp, didn’t expect him to be one of the 4 Golden Emissaries…but glad I was close to the truth at least. Also, did NOT expect to see cake served so openly this chapter…not that I’m complaining.
I wonder if there’s still four of them or the authors decided to add more? Tristan didn’t mention they’re four, only that he’s one of the Golden Emissaries.
It was never meant to be a secret, though it was never stated so explicitly either 😁

ok.first thing first. HOLY BEEFCAKE. If Arista try to bite that peach, will probably lose a tooth.
Second. Tristan is EIGHT thousand years old? That means he is older that Dorien and the Dreams?, becose i remenber Dorien and Queztal saying that they were repeating the cycle over and over for only 2 millennia or so.
Wooooah good catch! I think Tristan is older than Alice and Quetzal but younger than Dorian, since Dorian technically would be like his creator. Then again everyone keeps getting reincarnated so maybe the Emissaries do too, like the dreamers.
That scene was edited to fit the new narrative, we’re currently in year 8000 in London.

I was not expecting this explanation. Finally, we meet one of the golden emissaries who seem to be the male counterparts to the Goddesses’ Dreamers. Their job is to protect Dorian/Rumpelstiltskin, much like how the Dreamers are supposed to protect Snow White and Rose Red. Also, Tristan’s butt is gorgeous.
I find it interesting that the Golden Emissaries and the Dreamers are both blonde. It makes sense that the Golden Emissaries are blonde, like the Third One, but why would the side protecting the goddesses’ daughters also be blonde? You would think they’d have black hair and/or red hair to represent the goddesses.
Ohhh but you might be into something here. Because the dreamers have a golden glow to their hair just like the Emissaries do (or at least what we’ve seen Tristan do). The lore of the Goddesses and the Third One keeps revealing more secrets, so for all we know the Dreamers and the Emissaries may be more connected than we currently know.

Admit it Tristan. You’ve been waiting for an excuse for letting Arista see you naked – and you’re enjoying it, too.

Agreed! But I’m loving and living
After all these years, one must get used to the fact that it can happen, there has never been any particular censorship regarding that 🤣
He’s a brick! *do do doooo do* HOUSE!!
He’s mighty-mighty! Just letting it all hang out!
He seems less sinister than Alice’s fiancé, Lewis, who is also a golden emissary. Now we’ve met two of the four so far.
I wonder if there’s still four of them or the authors decided to add more? Tristan didn’t mention they’re four, only that he’s one of the Golden Emissaries.
Never mind, he says ‘four’ in the first panel of the middle row.
I was never certain if Lewis actually was one of the emissaries or not.
The current revealed Emissaries are Tristan and Lewis, so there are two more we have yet to see.
But I wonder about Kai…
I think Kai’s just cursed.

That scene was also edited, it’s eight millennia of chronology. And in fact, the Dreamers are still slightly older than the Emissaries 🙂

I think it’s honestly more of their designs being the Disney default that just so happened to be blonde.
Excellent point. I hope we get an explanation for this someday.
I’m not sure if Sonne changed this detail, but Quetzal didn’t have blonde hair in the original comic, she was a brunette.
She is still a brunette, but her hair remains in a constant golden state as long as Dorian is near her or is using magic.

He definitely doesn’t seem to have many issues with his physique 🤣
Everyone is talking about Tristan and the golden emissarys
Me: Oh, my butt
Dude. So he’s a natural blond boy because he’s connected to the original blond boy? Lewis too?
Y’all are thirsty as heck 🤣
Don’t see what’s wrong with that. 🤣
😳
