Of course. Who else would that crow be munching upon? The plucked out eyes remind me of the Grimm version of Cinderella where the stepsisters get their eyes pecked out by doves.

Dang, just realized how traumatizing it must have been for Cinderella to have killed that crow. For most of her life all she had were animals for friends so to have to take the life of one…
