It clearly is, but I thought he was dead, to the point where he wasn’t coming back. So I have no idea how the heck, Lady Tremaine got a hold of him or why he appears to be half crow.
I remember in the old version of the comic, when Tremaine attacked the palace, Alphonse protected Cinderella from Lucifer. As the cat severly injured (and I believed killed) the Prince, the Stepmother showed up praising her pet for doing a good job. So I believe after being done with Cinderella, she just took the reincarnated body of her past life’s son with her to the Citadel.
I’m sure the authors will include the scene in the remake where Agatha sees Lucifer fighting with Alphonse, but I guess she’d be more caring towards her “son” instead of sarcastic like in the older version… or maybe have flashbacks of her past and stop the cat before he kills Alphonse? A lot of things may happen and I’m looking forward to that… even though I know it’s gonna be drastic.
I don’t like that outcome and am worried that he’s going to end up in a similar situation to what Bethalda is doing to Eric. Not to mention in their past life, they were mother and son!
It’s freaking me out, but I wouldn’t really be surprised if… oh god… ok, putting this mildly, I wouldn’t be surprised if Agatha was revealed to have a Jocasta complex, or something similar. Especially since she’s reincarnated into a woman unrelated to her past life’s son. I don’t know, maybe this wouldn’t surprise me, because that’s one of the things I’m worried about the most. And we had already been proven by this comics that sometimes you worry for a reason.
Then again, we can have hope that maybe inside Alphonse will remain at least a tiny bit of Francisco’s mind that will eventually awaken him and his genuine feelings for Isabel/Ella, as well as this huge hatred towards his mother that will make him defy her once more, in a satisfying outcome. Heck, I’d be happy if it was him who would put an end to Agatha’s existence once and for all.
For Eric… yeah, I have no hope for Eric whatsoever. But Alphonse genuinely loved his wife in both of his incarnations, so who knows?

I am so confused! Also, why is it that every time we think someone’s love interest is dead, they’re either naked, hanging out with their supposed enemy or both? Case in point, Eric and Bethalda and Alphonse and Lady Tremaine. The non-naked example is Bastion and Mother Gothel. I don’t know what the hell is going on there with that last one, but he apparently thinks she’s his mother now!

Another twist. At least this means Cinderella could possibly be reunited with Alfonso. Does this make Phillip the only dead prince (Aladdin’s status still seems to be pending)?
I think Agatha used her harpy magic to recover his body, and maybe connected him to one of her crows. But instead of transforming into a demon monster, like Lucifer or Mulan, maybe Alphonse will become some sort of handsome angel of darkness? :3

I truly hope that, just like in her past life, Alphonse (or Francisco or whoever) will prove to be the source of her ultimate undoing. There would be no greater poetic justice. I just hope in the meantime Cinderella (Elisabeth) can manage to survive.
I’m pretty sure Berthalda took her while changing Ariel’s past. Actually I’m surprised Melody is still alive. I wonder if she’s going to disappear or something at some point.

Not necessarily I guess. I mean, this story has quite a bunch of characters that are messed up but gorgeous looking people (and I’m sure there’s much more to come). And it’s just that, so far, Agatha is one of the most hateworthy ones. But can’t deny she’s beautiful.

I’ve read on the tumblr that Agatha didn’t fully kill Alphonse and is now shaping him under her own conditions.
We never really got to see Alphonse´s body after all, most people would´ve assumed he was dead and not ever coming back….
