The thing is that Ariel really shouldn’t be beating herself up for this. Undine told her that if she restored Ariel’s life back to the way it was, Eric would be assassinated by his brother, Ariel would abandon Melody to the point where her uncle would be able to take advantage of this situation and marry her and the Goddesses would soon destroy her world a few years later. Also, Ariel wouldn’t be able to hold onto those memories long enough to be able to help anyone, at least not to the point where anyone would believe her.

I know most people are not particularly fond of Melody, but she is a character that’s really dear to me for various reasons. And you draw her so beautifully, every time I see her in this comic it makes me incredibly happy. Not to mention the outfit! I already know I will vote it in the Top Outfits Poll of this chapter 🙂
Lol, Carmilla’s attention is too fixated on Snow White right now but I agree with you. Belle better be the careful one here.

I love the idea of Ariel making a journal to write down her story and that the idea came from Belle. I wonder if it’s also possible that she could transfer her fading memories into Melody’s locket as a way to view them.

Love how much of a team player Belle is in this comic. Like out of all the princesses she’s always managed to both keep it together and try to help the others as best she can. What a queen.
