I believe an earlier version of this letter was located in the first chapter? The addition of Hansel is sweet, even though he wasn’t kind to Gretel either. And I also love that these letters include artwork now, they make them feel more complete as a whole 🙂
Yes it was, I thought it was a better fit for this chapter as epilogue:D

Dang, this letter really just goes to show how tragic Snow White and Grimhilde’s relationship is. They were both robbed of so much because of Althea and the cycle of hate she created.
We only know how Hansel reacted when his father abandoned both he and Gretel and he obviously didn’t act very nicely but Gretel never had anything bad to say about him so we can only imagine their relationship wasn’t that bad. The only persons Grimhilde never hold a grudge or spoke ill about are Lady Briar and Hansel
If I’m not mistaken, her first wish was for her brother to be brought back to life which couldn’t be done.

I love the addition of pictures to these extras. It hurts me though that Snow White truly has no idea who her mother really was. Also, Grimhilde was going to name her child after her brother if it was a boy.😭
This letter was originally intended to replace the one from chapter one, but just as I was uploading it, I thought it might be too thought-provoking and spoilerish. I think it works much better as an even more bitter ending to this chapter.
And yes, the addition of Hansel in Grimhilde’s thoughts was a great addition by Cyan 😀

This letter only makes me even more excited for when Snow White and Grimhilde inevitably meet again…something even more interesting since they never interact in the original film either, except when Grimhilde is disguised. Now that Rose Red and Grimhilde know the truth, Snow White still needs to find out as well.

How old was Snow white during the pregnancy?
18, she’s currently 24 in the main story 🙂
Awww Grimhilde wanted to honor her brother even if he wasn’t nice to her. 🙁
I know right? Maybe there was a time when he actually was.
