I love symbolism like this! The gold piece is obviously Dorian and he’s been removed from the bored. Snow White’s piece is still in play, and meanwhile Snow White herself holds the queen that is Rose Red. She’s so deep in thought that she looks frustrated or like she’s calculating her next move…possibly but Rose Red’s piece is the only one not covered in blood. And if Snow White’s hands are clean, whose blood is being spilled…?
