There’s definitely some sort of connection there for sure. Whether it’s familial or as you suggested, literal. I’m currently leaning towards they’re some form of the same person too (whether that be a similar state as Snow White and Carmilla or something else entirely). Hopefully we’ll know a bit more once we get more about Aria and the Dreamers.
I’m looking forward to the Camelot chapter which, like the Grimhilde chapter, will be one of those additional chapters which features a lot of story lore and probably explains the connections between Aurora, Maleficent, Morgana, Argus/Lancelot, and Guinevere/Calypso.
I still haven’t forgotten during Aurora’s death when she woke up Guinevere and there was that image of Maleficent, Morgana, and Guinevere spinning in three towers while Aurora burnt at the stake (8-25)
I love the closeup contrast between Aurora and Maleficent’s eyes.

Poor Phillip. Honestly I do not want to go through his death again. Holding out hope that the ending of the story brings him back somehow. We know Aurora has to procreate for Eilonwy to exist as her great-granddaughter even if Aurora somehow never returns to her world (but somehow her child will for Eilonwy to exist). Hoping that father is Phillip and not Argus or Dracula.
(to Maleficent): “… No.” (a tear falls) “… It’s not.” )’:
Finally more glorious Aurora.
Poor Phillip though.
I wonder if Maleficent and Aurora are related. They have the same eyecolor.
I wouldn’t put it past these writers to make them the same person in different worlds/timelines. XD They are the masters of plot twists after all.
Technically speaking Aurora has violet eyes and Maleficent has purple and blue eyes 🙂

Like in the old version? Chapter 16?
Yes, it’s Chapter 8, page 25 now. You can see some recent comments on it, including one by me.
Okay.
