LOVE how vivid the colors are already! Especially with how Ariel and Arista contrast with their surroundings. Very curious to see how different this will be from the “OG” 3.5.
The problem is that all that mythology was just an addition by Breadfly to the original script of the chapter(which was already originally written by the current writer, Cyan). However, in the end, it was a false mythology (none of the characters ever existed) that was never mentioned again beyond the first few pages, so it became mere aesthetic filler that only caused confusion in the lore, and the already existing pages did not fit with Harmonia herself. For that reason, I decided to work only with the original script and go directly to the main plot 🙂
Yes that makes perfect sense. Those pages were beautiful though so even if they were false mythology, they were nice to look at and give us more time underwater.
It will never not be funny to me that Poseidon looked just like Neptune from SpongeBob.

I remember it was said Arista would be slightly important to the story, moreso than the other sisters anyway. Wonder if this will lead to her meeting her love interest who we also don’t know much about at this point.

Same, I was very interested in the mythology established in the original pages. A pity they didn’t work and were removed.

Yeah, that original lore with a second Triton who wasn’t Ariel’s father was a bit confusing.
