I can see that Ariel no longer makes direct references to Carmilla in her conversation with Ondine and instead focuses on how she feels about her lost memories. Honestly, I like it better this way it feels too early for her to prioritize her new love interest so much.
Definitely not love in such a short time. Fascinated is a better term, yes.

I wonder why the Godesses hate advancement. So far I have a pretty dumb theory that they were once mortals who survived man-made environmental disasters and then they somehow obtained godhood and created worlds based off their childhood fairytales.
I’ve talked recently on tumblr about this. The goddesses do not allow technology to advance to the point where humans can fly and travel into space (which is perfectly traversable with oxygen here) and potentially reach the end of the universe to enter their realm.
Now I know who struck down Yzma and Kronk when they tried to fly. XD

What is a water transition exactly?
On a side note, I’m loving the updated dialogues!

I kinda feel like this is out of character for Melody, is she really that ok with loosing contact with the sea and separating from her friends and family? Then again, Claudio did groom an impressionable 16 year old.
I’m positive that after Eric died Claudio made sure no one from the sea came close to her. This, paired with the fact that her own mother shut her out during this time, probably cemented Melody’s opinion of the merfolk as unreliable people and erased her desire to associate herself with them.
It seems like two previous pages are missing
It’s fixed now 😀

I totally agree, she needs to focus a little more in substantial things.
Is Ariel still in love with Carmilla or is she just fascinated by her?

Oh so Treasure Planet is definitely not going to be in this comic, got it. My boy Jim has been spared from some sort of torture. 🤣
