Considering he had his own character tag, and the blonde theme…he’s at the very least connected in some way. This does make me curious about who the Fourth Member of the Golden Knights are though (I think that’s the new name?)
He definitely looks the part, the most clear indicator is him having the lines of the hair defined in a light color. If he was just platinum blonde but wasn’t a wielder of magic or anything magic-related, the lines of his hair would be defined darker like other human beings. Plus obviously him having a character tag is not a mere coincidence, unlike Gunther. So we’ll definitely will be seeing more of Rolland, which is funny because I probably got things mixed up but I thought there wouldn’t —or couldn’t— be Golden Emmisaries in Snow White’s world since the walls of her world were too strong for some types of magic to get in. But it’s so cool we now have 3 confirmed ones: Tristan (Amaro), Rolland and Lewis so there’s only one left to make his appearance. So excited!

Oh how lovely,the first gay couple in the comic. What a pity that he is forced to marry that woman. I hope they can have a beautiful story despite all of this

Yeah, it’s clear that Roland is of some importance to this story as he’s got a name tag. He and Gunther are cute together but I don’t think Gunther’s gonna survive. He doesn’t have a name tag.
I still think it’s intriguing how we get to see a Golden Emissary THAT close to Snow White so early in the story. Dorian hasn’t gotten to see any Snow White alive in centuries but one of his brothers has, it’s funny to think about. But we do know the reason is because Dorian has been searching non-stop for different magic wielders that can help him with his goal against the Goddesses. We still have yet to discover how the Golden Emmisaries’s dynamic works, I think it won’t be similar to the Dreamers for example.
When Lewis encountered Snow White in London he told her the 4 Golden Emmisaries wouldn’t loose sight of her so they are probably in constant contact
Tristan wasn’t particularly kind before meeting Arista. If you look at their first encounter, you’ll notice he’s not exactly the charming prince (don’t get me wrong, I really like Tristan, but at the beginning he was how he was), and he’s only nice to Flounder because he knows he’ll get to see Arista. Rolland seems kind so far; aside from wanting to keep his involvement or romance under wraps, there’s nothing really suspicious about his attitude. Who you really need to watch out for is that little demon Lewis, he’s an evil twink.
I don’t think Tristan helped Flounder just to get closer to Arista. He gained nothing from it, and he even asked Flounder to keep it a secret and take all the credit. He helped him simply because he genuinely wanted to, and it was also a great way to fix a plot hole in the movie.

I like how by now we ALL know to suspect blond man of being in leagues with Rumplestiltskin. xD This couple is so cute but I dread that something bad will happen to them!
